We prepare the legally required Explosion Protection Document (EPD) for facilities where explosive atmospheres may form.
An explosion is the rapid combustion and sudden expansion that occurs when flammable gases, vapors, mists, or dusts mix with air under atmospheric conditions and come into contact with an ignition source. The document that must be prepared by companies handling such substances in their facilities is called the Explosion Protection Document (EPD).
It is mandatory under the "Regulation on the Protection of Employees from the Risks of Explosive Atmospheres", published in the Official Gazette dated April 30, 2013, and numbered 28633.
